The battery is powerful and the usage time in any power mode is to be expected. I have a nearly 700 square foot studio and can handle the entire room with mixed power settings and still have over half the battery. The suction power is really good. I have 18" hair and it matches the carpet roller attachment perfectly. I vacuumed my Dyson V7 thoroughly the day before using it and it still picked up tiny dust particles that were visible and building up in the filter cup. Still, it doesn't have the power or pull your carpet like the V7 does, but it gets the job done and leaves satisfying vacuum suction lines on your carpet. The build quality is what you would expect from a budget vacuum. The included stand is a welcome addition, but it's made out of cheap plastic. However, the vacuum cleaner itself feels and looks good, the materials from which it is made do not seem to break down with use. Very happy with this product!
