Although I knew when I received it that it would fit in a duvet cover, I have to say I love this duvet. We've been looking for a comforter for a long time and this one fits the bill at an affordable price. When I got to his house my husband had already opened it and put it on our bed and I was very disappointed. She looked so flat and thin - not the look I was going for. I wanted a duvet I could almost lose myself in. Then I read the reviews. If you're disappointed at first, my only advice is fluff, fluff, fluff. Take this blanket and shake the hell out of it. Doing it with a friend helps and is a great way to burn off some energy. It's not too heavy, but heavy enough. It keeps us warm all night, but I live in a temperate climate, so I'm not trying to fight sub-zero temperatures. So far I've only seen a feather sticking out of the ceiling.
