I first bought washable nursing pads because I thought it would be nice to have - something reusable to leak (both for ecology and comfort) The washable pads I have (bamboo) feel a lot softer on my nipples, which have never been madly sore but were definitely very sensitive for some time at the beginning of breastfeeding, but have they don't absorb much.or stay on as well as these nursing pads.I have some issues with excess and tend to leak a little when my son decides to sleep more than two or three hours.I have already used two and a half packs.I I'm hoping to go back to washable nursing pads when my son grows up and eats more efficiently (or maybe just when he's eating kids fes te food and breast milk would be more of a supplement) but they saved a life (or maybe more bras and shirt liners?) now that I'm pretty much leaking free.
