Bought as an alternative to 'regular' readers. The lenses were much clearer than others previously purchased in this price range and the frames are lightweight and comfortable. I'd like to know if this helps with my eye strain - not drastic relief, but again, it's no worse. I think speculation is pseudoscience, so I won't do it. Just want to note that in a house full of reading glasses, my wife and I considered them "the best." Very good glasses.
