The most important aspect of blush, in my opinion is: 1. To begin, a shade that is quite accurate. Not too light, not too red, and not too brown either. Like a taupe. Ideal for creating a contouring effect on pale skin. 2. They have a pigmentation that is somewhere in the middle. It is sufficient to brush over them once, and then to make a few of strokes on the cheekbones, in order to get a contouring effect that appears natural. And finally, number three, they are simple to shade, which, in my opinion, is a direct result of point number two.
