Not big enough for large eggs
I have purchased 8 of these containers. I buy 2 dozen eggs a week from a local farmer and I buy them to reduce waste and make it easier to wash farm fresh eggs. Unfortunately the farmer has to sort the eggs specifically for my containers as the largest eggs get crushed by the lid. . For large chicken eggs, the lid should be 1/2 inch higher. Fix it and it will be 4 or 5 stars. to the hot spot on the lid to form a dome over each egg. This worked, but is unsightly and makes the containers non-stackable. At least I don't throw away the egg trays every week, but they were expensive and had to be the right size.
