Poor sound quality for headphones

Just got mine Received and have to say - I find the sound quality awful and the swim tips don't seem to seal in my ears like other brands I've bought (never tried them in the water to be honest.) I'm really confused after I've had them read the reviews but I am returning them.

SECURE FIT FOR SPORTS: Headphones (regular 39 inch cable) fit snugly around the ear, providing the best fit over the ears and minimizing cable discomfort when running, swimming or even lifting weights
