So this morning I decided to try the soap. I had to shave my head. I opened the sage and it smelled amazing. I'm a big fan of amber scent when it comes to shaving soap. So I was impressed when the pleasant aroma hit me. When I lather, I don't have a mug or a brush. I only used my hands. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because of the foam. Not what I expected. I'm used to old gentlemen Caswell Massey Amber. Really good thick foam develops. I should have based this review on that. It did a great job of moisturizing my head before shaving. I didn't feel as many little cuts and cuts. So overall I'm satisfied. I look forward to trying out the next three in the coming weeks. I also thought I would try it as a body wash one day just to see how good it really is.
