Connected these to a relay to my tail light and a dedicated power line from my battery, which I also used to power bedside lamps (tons of YouTube guides to follow ) and these work great. Very bright, my rear camera now looks like daylight. 2 notable points: 1) They come with metric hex head bolts. Do yourself a favor and get 4 x 1/4" x 1" stainless steel hex head screws, 8 x 8 x 1/4" stainless steel flat washers, 4 split washers and 4 x nyloc nuts from Home Depot .This will make life a lot easier if you ever need service.. and also more likely to stay properly tightened longer.. I tested, below and before/after with the rear camera.
