I've had this monitor for a few months now and am very happy with it. I originally wanted a resolution of 1920 x 1200 but went for it mainly because of the price. The resolution is definitely sufficient. I have an old computer so I was a little apprehensive about setting it up. However, it was quickly recognized by Windows XP Professional and I only had to set the maximum permitted resolution. I have never used the CD that came with it. It only has VGA cables, so if you need a different cable, that's your responsibility. It has a USB repeater port tucked near the front of the monitor if you want to use it, but I never use mine. It's clear, bright and has good colors. It's a TN active matrix, not the more expensive IPS, so there's a slight color degradation when you change the viewing angle. I'm not a professional graphic artist and don't play games a lot, so I can't tell if it's fast or has high color accuracy. For average computing needs, this is much better than my CRT. At work, I use a Samsung 244T, which has a higher resolution and better monitor, not to mention slightly larger. But this AOC is great value for money. Just one thing that annoys me a bit: I often let my computer go to sleep and sometimes AOC has trouble waking up. I have to turn the power off and on again from time to time, maybe twice a month.
