Review on Tasmanian Tiger 7624 Pilotpad Black by Marco Habersham

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Impeccable quality: tires

If you are a pilot looking for a knee brace, look elsewhere! Although this item was called "Pilot Case", it wasn't meant for her. I know because I keep this item in my helmet bag. Don't let my opening comments fool you, I love it. While the straps around the back allow it to be used as knee pads, it really is oversized. It CAN be used as a knee pad which is why I bought it. I use it as a backup. In my pilot pad bags I keep an extra trip computer, a few reference notes, a plotter, an ear, a flight document, and more. In fact, you can store the VFR in a section in your right side pocket and it will protrude about an inch from the top. It fits a ton of extra stuff in my flight bag for me while still retaining the ability to be a knee pad; should I forget or break my normal one (it has a large leg strap at the back). The mini business notepad is the same size as the real world and I will probably use this notepad for quick notes and drawings in meetings. Right now it's the perfect size to fit in my helmet bag and give me that extra confidence that I have everything I need to fly. I like this product very much and it corresponds to the description. The quality is excellent, the description is accurate and if you feel this item suits your needs I would recommend you try it. It was exactly what I wanted.

Pros
  • tires and tubes
Cons
  • big and bulky
