Without the smell I would have given these five stars. I like the material - they don't look like they'll fall apart with the clothes inside. I use them for delicate items that need to be separated from my loads that don't require anything special and they seem to get the job done. A very strong feeling for her. However! I will say I was hoping the other comments on here about the smell were just people getting a bad batch or something but mine smelled awful too. It was almost a fishy smell. I had to soak these pouches in vinegar and a little washing powder overnight and they've finally lost their smell, but please be careful when you buy them! If you can't soak them I would toss them in the washing machine - but not with other clothes/linens in case the smell spreads. It was terrible. I would happily buy another pair in the future but not anytime soon and again that's because of the smell.
