Does the job of getting the Christmas cheer going

This year I decided to keep the Christmas decorations to a minimum due to lack of money and the pandemic raging outside my small apartment. I heard about those "instant" pop up Christmas trees and thought that was enough. Saw this one and liked the price. It arrived the next day in a box no bigger than a box of Blaze Pizza. How could it be a "tree"? Well, literally in 2 minutes everything was assembled. It looks cheap and cheap, but it has a chic charm that I love. I wish it had lights, but I have a feeling some of the fairy lights would probably be too heavy even to carry. Luckily I was able to put a regular glowing star tree on top that I normally use on a regular Christmas tree. While I miss putting in all the jewelry I have (it can't possibly hang jewelry on it), the thought of not having to take it apart and re-wrap each piece in bubble wrap at the end of the year kept me breathing. Help. It definitely helps bring a bit of Christmas cheer to what has been a very, very turbulent year from hell. However, one regret is that I would like to buy white or green to be a little 'cooler'. It's so cheap I might buy another one next year.
