Review on Wrist watch CASIO GBD-100-1 by Mateusz Jankowski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am very happy with this purchase, I will advise everyone!

Someone asked - now you can set up a separate type of notification (sound and / or vibration) for several groups (pictured). That is, if you want to distinguish a call from push notifications, you can set the vibro only for it. And so, jishoks are a cannon bomb among watches. All the rest that I have ever had - I successfully broke, somehow about something, but broke)) The first jishoks were presented by the ex-wife 7 years ago. God, how many seas they have seen, where only I didn’t throw them, didn’t throw them, etc., real peasant watches)) But since the wife became the former, the tired jishoks also went to scrap and they were replaced by this model :) I drooled for a long time on her, then a discount appeared in the Market - I decided to take it. While satisfied.

Pros
  • 1) Indestructibility, indestructibility 2) Autonomy of work. This is one of the key criteria for me. Smart watch, Apple Watch is certainly all good, but I have absolutely no desire to charge another item every one and a half to two days. 3) Although everyone here differed about the application. But for me it is also a big plus. I downloaded everything from the appstore (called G SHOCK MOVE) in just a couple of minutes. And I made all the clock settings for another five minutes, maybe. Super convenient. You can track the distance traveled, set goals for steps, alarms, timers - all through the application, there is no need to look at the clock now. 4) Dimensions - as for jishoks, they are quite compact, they are felt on the hand, but not heavy. 5) I will add point 3 - the pairing itself also allows you to set up alerts from the phone on the watch. Yes, there is such a short regime. But for example, if it’s winter, the phone is far away, you don’t want to take off your gloves - you can at least see from whom and the first few lines of the message there. This is enough for me personally. 6) Training mode with repeating timers, etc. - I haven’t driven much yet, but if you get confused and set everything up, I think it will be convenient for running and for some kind of crossfit, interval training.
Cons
  • So, not shortcomings, but there is something to get to the bottom of: 1) It feels like all this plastic shell has become harder (or somehow more plastic, not rubber) than in those that were first worn 7 years ago, so the hand is a little unusual. 2) Sometimes sometimes the auto-backlight does not work, especially if you wave your hand too sharply 3) For some reason, when you press the "run" button to start training, but then you want, for example, back, you do it back and the inscription "please wait" hangs for 5 seconds, apparently somehow connected with synchronization. 4) You can not immediately fall into the text of the alert - you need to go through the menu. 5) Well, I’ll throw in a minus too - maybe someone will have problems downloading the application. For Android - download the ready-made apk file, for the App Store - do it strictly according to the instructions on the Internet "how to change the app store region" for example to Polish. Download, change back. Hemorrhoids will only happen if you have an active subscription. They seem to fly off.
