We used it to restore and recolor a 30-year-old leather armchair. It worked great! Most of our friends thought we bought new chairs. The only downside is that over the course of a couple of weeks if you rubbed the chair down with a white towel some of the black would come off. So you have to wait a while before you can sit on it, especially if you wear white. We used an electric buffer and rubbed and rubbed and rubbed and it still felt like it was still coming loose. But after a few weeks, the white sheets came out clean. Highly recommended.
