I am using a 3rd generation iPad Pro 11 inch. The iPad recognized the pen immediately - no pairing process. The pen was charged enough to try. In the Notes app that came with the iPad, I picked up a pen with the letter A on it and wrote. The iPad is able to recognize VERY sloppy handwriting and convert it to text. I tried this with texting and emailing - and without any changes - the iPad recognized handwriting and converted it to text. The iPad's surface is smooth and taking a lot of notes on it takes a little getting used to. The pen works with the Photos app on the iPad - without adjusting settings after using apps with handwriting recognition. The stylus can be attached to the edge of the iPad with a magnet, making it harder to lose. It comes with a USB-C to USB cable for charging and a spare stylus tip, although the contact between the stylus and the iPad's surface is so smooth it's hard to imagine the tip wearing out quickly. It was packaged very nicely. Great offer.
