Surprisingly good quality, the head is held in place with red epoxy and a tiny cylindrical wedge as far as I can tell. Now for the nitpicking. The roughness of the handle is exactly 90 degrees from that, what it should be. It doesn't mean anything to 99% of you, but as someone who makes and assembles their own grips on a regular basis, it worries me that it's also undamaged and fair. Inaccurate, in my opinion. I might toss it out at the end and put a nice apple or frame grip on it.Otherwise the sanding and profiling of both the face and varnish comes out very even and smooth. There is a little dome on the face and doesn't leave square marks like some of the other cheap ones Hammers I've used Overall a good buy.
