They're good for what they are. I wish they had slightly better holding power and could work with thicker material: their maximum size is 3/4" and sometimes the mechanism pops out and becomes incomprehensible when you open it all the way. Some people find it difficult to come up with one Hand to work but for those who work moderately with their hands this is not a problem.but they are cheap and effective enough I only have an extra set on hand.
