I have a slight addiction to shoes. And many shoes in the collection. I really don't like it when the boots are on the floor in the closet and the tops are folded. I tried to find those dainty hooks shoe shops always hang on, but they were hard to come by and either very expensive or really junk. So for the past few years, when I've bought pants or skirts, I've left the plastic hangers and used them to buckle my shoes. Spring. it also takes up quite a bit of closet space. Which was fine as I had a separate closet for shoes/boots and accessories. But these hangers could be a bit temperamental, and often the plastic would crack - and the clips would stick together, and. This tends to be a bit frustrating when you're in a hurry or trying to clean up/organize. (1st world problems, right?) Well, these make the perfect boot hangers. The way they're layered allows for more efficient use of closet space (about half that of trouser and skirt hangers!) since the soles of the boots are offset and no longer flush. The cleats are adjustable along the shaft so I can move them around a bit and the rubber coating on the ends of the cleats means I don't damage the inside of the boot leg. (I only fasten the inside, I don't put the whole shaft in the clip to avoid marking the outside of the boot shaft). The way the clips fold together makes it easy to remove the hanger with the pair of boots I need and just hang the others into place. Didn't get 5 stars because I would have liked a little more height from hook to bar; it's pretty cozy. And it would be ideal if the hook could rotate, but it would be fixed. Definitely if you have at least a couple of pairs of boots you should buy them! a little tight for most adult skirts; I'm using poles of similar design but with poles connected at the ends.)
