As a curmudgeon I was wary of the price and the fact that you get a smaller spool than most other yarns. I've since found that you're probably going to use a lot less of these than you did in the other thread. With another thread I usually pull out a good 15 cm of thread and wrap it around my fingers many times, because with a thin thread it starts to slip when it gets wet. We all know what happens when you pull out too little dental floss and try to use it. It just slips off your fingers. I probably pull it 30-40% less than a cheap floss because it doesn't slip. A loop around your finger is enough. That might make you think it's not slippery enough to get between your teeth. It slides very easily between teeth and cleans better. It also feels better in the spaces between your gums, whereas cheap, flimsy dental floss can sometimes feel like it's cutting into your gums. Like mustard, this is one of those products that is worth buying a slightly more expensive product for.
