Battery life 3-4 weeks with Panasonic eneloop AA batteries. The color temperature is a bit whiter than a real candle, but for me that's acceptable (even desirable for some applications). The timer function works great. Six hours of work, eighteen hours of rest. They are useful in many ways - like table candles; suction cups for window glass; used as a light source in Snow Village houses; or as useful life-extending lights in decorative 3-inch candles. (Just drill a roughly 3/4 inch hole in a decorative candle and insert a timed LED candle.) The suction cups suck, but in the wrong direction! and if it's lost or stops working, you'll be out of timer candles. Complaint #2: One out of 20 candles stopped working after a month. The remaining 19 worked for two years. I have 10 left unused. At the end of the second year, a remote control started to fail, but with a new battery it worked perfectly. The second remote that came with my second order of ten candles didn't work when I tried it two years later. The battery is dead without being used (or without removing the protective film). I messaged the company and asked them to send me a replacement remote. They sent two, although it took a few months because. sent from China. So 5 stars for the company's customer service!
