I bought both 18" and 24". This rating applies to both since they have the same seller and manufacturer. Here are the issues and main issues both have: 1.) Sizes are not as advertised. The 2.5 inches on each side of the bars have almost no magnet, making it impossible to use even a pair of knives without slipping and hurting someone. This loses a total of 5 inches of space, turning 18 inches into 13 inches of usable storage and 24 inches into 19 inches of usable storage. This is a serious problem for me. I need all of the advertised space to be usable for my knives, not empty space. 2) One bar of the magnet is stronger than the other, so it won't hold the same on heavier knives. This was also the case with 18 and 24, so it is obvious that they are made to save material. 3.) In order to hold a set of knives of any quality, the knives must be of considerable weight. The included mounting screws and dowels are cheap and will only lead to falling. Now the 24" arrived with some minor scratches and a small dent on one of the bars as if it had already been returned. The 18" also had minor scratches and was missing the 6S hooks that should go with it. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. I believe that in this case you get cheap and poor quality what you pay for.
