When I ordered this coat I was nervous about the fit. Some said it was big, others said it was small. I go with the little ones. I'm 5'4" and 350 pounds. I usually buy big tops. My shoulders tend to be wider. I ordered size XL and it fits perfectly. There's no tightness, but there's no feeling that I'm in the coat stuck in another one. I'll definitely say it runs a size smaller. I love coats. It's well made. I read a review that it had a cheap zipper. NO. My son had it dry cleaned so I know exactly what cheap zippers are. This coat has a good zipper. It might not be the heaviest but it is very durable. If you have trouble closing the zipper, just rub it with a bar of soap, it slides easily and Doesn't stick. The pockets are deep enough for my phone and I find them spacious. The stitching is good and I like the design options. I'm so glad I bought this coat. Very satisfied in order to. Warning: Be sure to order the correct size as you cannot change it after ordering. You must return it for an exchange. I know when I tried. I panicked when evaluating for fear it would be too big. I was NOW glad I couldn't resize as the size was perfect. :) I would definitely buy this jacket again, hands down. And by the way, it's very warm. I live in WNY and I know the cold.
