The light seems to work well. easy part. Where it's not enough, it's in the mountains. It has a good counterweight and a pretty strong spring. Installing on a laptop or a really thin monitor works fine. On thicker monitors, however, this is a complete failure. I received four of these lamps for review and this model is the only one that doesn't match my monitor. It worked fine on my laptop though. It seems like a good light. You just need to know where you are going to install it before deciding whether to buy it or not.
