I have an early 1990's Marantz Legacy Series analogue stereo system, 4 wired speakers and 2 Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 4 Bluetooth speakers. I am using Miccus RTX 2.0. , I wanted to have multiple use cases, e.g. B. Playing music from a Bluetooth device on my Marantz analog stereo and being able to play music from an analog stereo on Bluetooth speakers. When connecting a Miccus RTX 2.0 to the headphone jack of a Marantz stereo, I was unable to play any music using RX (receiver mode) or TX (transmitter mode). Miccus in TX mode could not find the Harman Kardon Onyx Bluetooth speakers. The blinking blue light kept blinking for 30 seconds and then went off. (This meant that the Bluetooth device was not detected.) Now the Miccus device was able to connect to the Bluetooth on my mobile phone in RX mode (receiver). (Apparently by watching Miccus' blinking blue light turn to a solid blue light, and also by seeing "Connected" under the Miccus Bluetooth connection on my phone.) BUT, when I turned the music on turned on my cell phone, my Marantz stereo system recognized NO music. (We have volume controls on both the phone and the stereo.) I even tried toggling between all the settings on my stereo. Auxiliary, phono stage, tuner, CD and cassette. There is no music. Nothing. zilch. I tried calling the Miccus support phone number but was only able to leave a voice message. My call was not answered. I genuinely wanted the Miccus RTX 2.0 transceiver to work. But it looks like it will be "impossible". So I will return Mikkus' device to Revane.
