I was pleasantly surprised at how well this microphone performed. I'm a photographer but I had an urgent need to do a video project for a client who needed a lavalier mic connected to my D850. I ordered one night and it was here the next day. The sound quality was excellent, especially considering the price. We found that we had to place the mic fairly low on the shirt to eliminate static electricity, but once we figured out the right distance from the mouth, everything was fine. My only problem is that the lapel clip is not tight enough. He falls easily. From a sonic point of view, however, it's good for a pinch or for people who need a mic for weird projects from time to time. I'd be happy to have it handy now.
