I have mixed feelings about this deodorant. 1-- IT REALLY WORKS! That surprised me a little. After trying other non-aluminum deodorants, I was skeptical. 2. As other reviewers have pointed out, you still sweat but no longer smell bad. 3-- It doesn't last as long as "regular" deodorant. Not exactly 24 hours, while my "regular" 24 hour deodorant lasts about 36 hours. 4-- Here's what I care about: if I use it for more than 2 days in a row, I'll get diarrhea. It's not serious, but bad enough to be very annoying. When I realized it was caused by deodorant (and not a virus) I didn't want to use it anymore. This makes sense as magnesium is known to cause gastrointestinal issues, but I was surprised that enough magnesium could be absorbed through my skin to do so. Which brings me to 5. If I can absorb enough magnesium through my armpits to cause problems, how much aluminum am I absorbing and what does that do? Which kind makes me want to keep using them. Just not every day.
