Worth the extra cost of the best thermostats
My Ford Explorer was freezing cold, the gauge was at the low end of normal. I had a heater but after replacing it got a lot hotter and the temp gauge reads about half the scale. Not all thermostats are created equal, this one had the best workmanship, the one that came out looked cheap. I changed it 5 years ago. Hope this one lasts longer. Genuine Motorcraft part with rubber o-ring/gasket included.
