This seat does what it says on the tin and does it well. Installation was simple, easy and quick. The seat and lid are well thought out, well made and look high quality. The slow close feature is pretty cool. It can be easily removed and replaced for cleaning. The night light is a great success. The remote control works, it is easy to understand and "dial", the sound signal is pleasant and unobtrusive. although the text could have been a bit bigger. The heated seats are better than I thought. In fact, it's a real shock to sit in one of the other seats in the house, even on a hot day! Wow what a frustrating experience, I guess I just need to set up the other bathrooms accordingly. after all. So, would I buy this chair again? Yes, but I would probably choose a model with unlimited water heating. This model has a tank and at the end of a short cleaning cycle the water gets pretty cool. And the dehumidifier is practically useless. It's not the seat's fault or anything, it's just the physics of trying to dry the water with a slow-moving stream of warm air, unless you want to run multiple cycles. It's nice to sit down after a shower and do the drying cycle before putting your clothes on and it's really nice on a cold night. After all, even with the long model, the opening is quite small. I'm quite a tall guy and everything fits and is comfortable, feels easy. cozy.
