They seem to be made of quality materials. Based on several reviews, I ordered 20" inserts for 18" lids. They insert easily and fill lids well while remaining soft and fluffy. This is important if like me you like to take naps on the couch from time to time, a comfortable pillow is a must. I also ordered a set of 18 inch earphones. And while they're the same quality and fill out an 18-inch cover nicely with the same fluffy look, they definitely feel flatter. The best comparison is between the feel of a 20" liner and an 18" liner in an 18" container - the 20" liner feels like a new pillow, while the 18" liner feels like a new pillow feels like an old, well-used pillow. As an added bonus, these inserts for filling the covers last a long time as you can replace the covers instead of the whole pillow.
