Revainrating 4 out of 5

Plug and unplug the USB connector several times before worrying that it won't work. I had to close the LED.

LED lights up when charging. I can't find this useful information as the phone can tell me a lot more. One star off because I had to glue it on. Anker LOVES bright blue LEDs and I love Anker. I just keep some super opaque tape when I buy a new hub or adapter to cover the LEDs. I was a little disappointed at first as it charged for a second and then immediately stopped. I've tried removing the phone's cover and switching between power adapters and alternate cables. I found a combo that finally worked, but then troubleshooting the original cable and the Anker adapter I was given finally seemed to help. I recommend an Android app called Ampere which has been very accurate for me on multiple phones to show actual charging speed. I have this panel for Pixel 5 with Adaptive Charging. Because of this, fast charging doesn't seem to work. But when active, it forces the phone to watch how much time is left until morning and then uses a slower speed until it's full in the morning. Battery life can be shortened by always using the absolute maximum charge current - and for many of us, a sensible compromise. But I'm fine if it takes my time at night. Even at lower speeds, it charges an empty Pixel 5 in less than three hours.
