Beautifully crafted from soft tanned leather. Inside the case is soft rawhide leather that will not scratch or ruin the surface of your pocket watch. A new small pocket watch would be in order. My antique size 16 is a bit tight. Antique size 18 or larger will not fit. Modern pocket watches larger than two inches in diameter will not work either. Using a snap clasp is a nice touch as the magnetic clasp, while neat looking, can ruin both mechanical and battery powered watches.
