These lights are bright! This has improved visibility and overall appearance at night, but the fit isn't perfect. When I tried installing one on the driver's side it wouldn't snap and it was hard to tell why. I ended up shaving off part of the clip from both ends to allow it to go in. I was disappointed that it didn't fit perfectly. I have no mechanical/electronic experience and would be annoyed if I break something trying to fit it. Be careful when buying an alloy. It requires minor modifications. I shaved it off with a very sharp knife. In addition, the light simply turns off without dimming as soon as you start the car with the door open. The light stays off until you close and reopen the door.
