The Dual Edge is still my favorite for many reasons - just hope Gillette doesn't think about discontinuing this product. I will do my best to provide information for people who may decide to go with a one, two, three or four bladed design. First, try each razor for at least a month and compare the following: 1) Which razor makes you feel good on your face after a month. Most likely, this will be the razor you will use forever. For me, triples and quadruples remove too much and leave my face very dry. 2) Upper Lip - trim the mustache before it appears! Yes, some of us have hair up to our nostrils and it's important that the razor clears the way for a close shave. Once again, the double fits perfectly - but this isn't about me, it's about what works best for you. It really takes about a month to come to a final result that is best for you and most comfortable. Of course, triple and quad blades cut closer, but later in the day I also felt more stumps, but others swear by it.
