Review on ๐ŸŽฎ Logitech F310 Wired Gamepad Controller with Console-Like Layout and 4-Way Switch D-Pad for PC - Blue by Ada Aleksandrowska แ Œ

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I like the product, the quality didn't let me down.

The first gamepad I owned was a Defender Game Racer Turbo, and this one is my second. Naturally, using Logitech after having used it is comparable to having lunch for the first time not at McDonald's but at a restaurant; initially, I was delighted by this experience. No more headaches caused by key emulators or Dinput support; games now dynamically adjust their control schemes. However, after using it for a period of four months, I became aware of a significant drawback: the gamepad is designed in such a way that it merely rubbed my fingers when I was actively using it. There is a callus that has developed on the index finger as a result of the constant pressure that is required to be applied to the tight trigger. The same applies to the thumb, which rests on top of the stick. This is in spite of the fact that I did not play any combo-squeezing fighting games or soulsborne during that time; rather, I focused solely on playing 3D platformers for a few hours each day. In addition, because I have rather small hands, my knuckles frequently come into contact with the protruding part of the gamepad. This is the part of the gamepad where the triggers and extras are located. keys, and then after that they start to hurt. The XYAB buttons make a loud clicking sound, and I'm not entirely certain that they won't stop working over time. The "defender" gamepad, despite having only a few functions, had superior buttons and analog sticks that could be pressed with ease and gave the impression of being dependable. If it weren't for these inconvenient circumstances, I would put 5 Logitech, which is a good model for the price that is appropriate as a temporary solution (if your gamepad is broken and you are on fire to play, but there is not much money). On the other hand, when I go again, I plan to bring something that is both more expensive and more functional.

Pros
  • A relatively limited dead zone for sticks The presence of a switch between X-input and DIN-input Nice design A solid cross (with dangles, but that aspect is less important to me) The majority of the games that are being tested are installed and configured on their own. The amount of pressure, which is suitable for use in racing games, is determined by the triggers.
Cons
  • Poor ergonomics; causes calluses to form on the fingers! Tight triggers (and sometimes they are pressed easily, and sometimes not at all) There is no protection against wire breaks. There are still games, mostly older ones, that don't support it.
