Everyone in my family has Keen shoes and we love them. My eldest son is very picky about his shoes so about a year ago I realized I needed to invest in more expensive and better quality shoes. I bought him a pair of Keens a few months ago. Our new puppy chewed his shoelaces and blew a hole in his heel. I had to replace them and opted for a pair with velcro closures. I was hoping that the velcro closure might extend the life of the shoe if somehow our pup manages to to get his teeth in. But they appeared without Velcro.
