The specs are great for what I need, which is basic stuff. I've tested Premier Pro, Photoshop and After Effects and was surprised that these programs run smoothly enough for video editing; but with just 8GB of RAM, don't expect much more than simple editing and simple effects. The first impression is great. Update: Halo Reach averages 40-50 fps. Battery life could be better, but I seem to get 4 to 8 hours when the computer isn't busy. In general, I'm very happy with this thing, and it looks nice too: good color. My version didn't have a keyboard backlight. It's not listed on the product page so I wasn't expecting it, but some reviews did mention it. It gets a little warm when playing games or working on videos. I can't say anything negative, it does its job.
