I have two of these and they are good radios apart from some issues with the microphone. Both radios skip channels when you use them and the only way to stop this is to lock the channel, which is fine, but you then have to unlock it to get to the new channel. Both have problems with the transfer button, sometimes there is an error, you have to release the button and try again. With some minor modifications this radio can operate from 25.615MHz to 30.105MHz which gives a good range but for the money you might want to consider something better.
