I think it holds more than you need, but especially in winter you can put a hat and gloves in it and not be afraid of losing anything. I have a small concern about the bag: the lining is mid-weight vinyl and I would have preferred a woven fabric. But everything else is excellent. It has two inner side pockets, elasticated top. One for a water bottle, another for a folded umbrella, gloves or hat - it has many uses. There are many (but not too many) other bags. It is suitable for male or female use but may be more suitable for males. I'm a female, so I can feminize a bit. I wanted something that can withstand a lot, especially since winter will return sooner or later. Now I could stop at a farmers market and stuff it up! :-) I just want the lining to be fabric. In every other respect, this is a bag that you'll carry comfortably and look good at the same time.
