As you can see my new French Press has made my coffee cup very happy. This is a very elegant press - the lid and plunger slide very smoothly and it has some weight so it stays in place during use. The screens are very efficient and NOT cheap by design. I use it every day for a week and it consistently does its job of keeping out thick and fine particles. I'm very picky about the last cup - it usually has that bitter aftertaste, but the strainer/piston mechanism does a great job of keeping that muck - even in the last cup. I read other reviews and my purchase was based on positive reviews. I am very satisfied, as is my cup of coffee. Thank you for creating such a wonderful product.
