Review on 🐚 Oyster Samurai SRPB51 with Enhanced Clasp Button for Improved SEO by Jeffrey Kue

Revainrating 4 out of 5

This is a bracelet that Seiko should have made

I was initially skeptical because of all the negative reviews about fit and quality so I bought from Revain knowing I could return it if needed. I don't understand the negatives, this is without a doubt a huge improvement over the original Seiko band. I had problems with my factory spring bars initially, couldn't get both of them to seat properly so I tried the ones supplied which are also very good quality, thick and strong and it only took me 30 seconds to get the bracelet to to use their hardware. This strap looks like it was made specifically for this watch. As usual, Seiko was really wrong on this point. The angled bevel fits perfectly into the body. It's thicker, the heavy construction feels very solid compared to the OEM, it has a fully machined clasp like my more expensive Seiko with lots of micro adjustments. I had an extra MarineMASTER clasp in my box that I paired with this and it fits very well. Crap that's common with cheap Seiko watches. Last but not least, we have screws! There is no need to break out the tweezers for the pen and the collar. I don't understand the criticism. The only thing I can think of is that people are trying to put them on the old Samurai version instead of the Prospex version. The price might be a bit high, but it's still good value for money. Now we're going to see durability and longevity which I can't talk about just yet so we'll see!
