Review on GMB OE Replacement Water Pump 180-2220IM with Metal Impeller and Gasket by Christopher Morgan

I bought this water pump because my car's pump impeller broke. I checked Autozone and the price was around 80 for a replacement but with the same plastic impeller. I've looked at a lot of Volkswagen forums and they said that a metal impeller pump tends to last longer over the life of the pump. I wasn't sure I could find it cheaper as it was 250 in Autozone so I decided to look for it on Amazon and I found it at a cheaper price, now the pump is in my car and I felt it with a little more horsepower than before. Just remember to change the timing belt too, jets are really complex cars and just to change the water pump or the timing belt you almost have to disassemble the engine.
