Update #2 - 06/09/21 in Accessories and Consumables

UPDATE 06/09/2021. My replacement device no longer works either. Now if the music stops for more than 1-2 minutes (or if nothing starts playing for 1-2 minutes after plugging it in), the device shuts down and freezes, requiring a power cycle and power off. This happens sporadically with multiple devices and multiple power supplies. Too bad, although it worked well. I wouldn't recommend HomeSpot though, they clearly have serious quality control issues. The static cancellation is also too aggressive and will cut off your music if the volume is too low. UPDATE 7/19/2020: HomeSpot saw this review and sent me a new device, my original device was defective. The new device works great, no complaints. This rating has been upgraded from 2 to 4 stars for excellent customer service. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I wanted to reduce the hassle of constantly turning Bluetooth on and off and this did the trick. Except. That does not work. I have the aptX only version and thank goodness because aptX is not supported on the iPhone. It's neither here nor there, as the iPhone uses AAC codecs instead, which are comparable in terms of sound quality. Now for my biggest complaint: After a few songs, the sound just doesn't come out anymore. To fix this you need to pause and play the song and the audio will start playing again. Can I just say how annoying it is to turn Bluetooth on once? I thought it might be my old iPhone SE so I was waiting to get an iPhone 11 but same problem with 11 and now my return window is gone. Very disappointed with HomeSpot.
