I used the cheaper Harbor Freight dual strap knee pads. You pinched your knee, fell down, just very uncomfortable. A friend once had a pair of Troxell Super Soft Pads. He said to try it on. OMG immediately they felt great. They had no other problems. He told me to keep them. Sometimes I forget her on my knees. I sweat a lot and at the end of the day they are soaking wet. I just roll up the straps and hang them on a rail and they're dry the next day. I finally got a new pair because the gravel pile crawling has worn down the top cover. It restores my confidence that I can spend a little more on a superior product.
