The cut is lower than in the picture.
Sits much lower on the leg, more like a quarter than the photo. Look at my disgusting feet. For reference, I wear size 13 shoes. The inner material is nice and soft. It's so soft I feel like I'll slip while walking. There were a few minor seam defects that almost bothered me at the price. I have attached a picture of the package. If you are interested, you can look at the washing instructions. Cold normal cycle is fine. Do not tumble dry them. To be clear, they don't "heat up" like battery-powered socks. These are ordinary thermal socks with new patterns.
