Bad Batch July 2020

Three of my Yorkshire Terriers have been eating Rachael Ray Nutrish Just 6 Natural Dry Dog Food, Limited Ingredients, Meal Meat & Brown Rice Recipe (28 lbs) since July 2017. My last order was delivered on July 2nd, 2020 but they didn't start eating them until around July 10th as there was little left from my previous order. (I order a 28-pound bag and then keep it in the freezer; I thaw a limited amount at a time to keep it frozen.) My Yorkies practically inhale their food, and one has a plate to prevent choking ; Still, 1/4 cup of food doesn't last long. When I opened the new bag I found it smelled and felt slightly different and I found it looked slightly darker. (Now that I've read other reviews I want to take a closer look.) From the first feeding from the new pouch, Yorkies have not eaten quickly and left the food in the bowl. At the same time, however, we had a slight heat wave; Some friends said their dogs eat less in the summer. Mine never seemed affected by the seasons but figured I'd wait and see. I've noticed several accidents related to digestion. So today, July 16th, I picked up a bag of her old food and planned to mix the new food with Rachel Ray's food - as recommended when rotating meals. Before that though, I read the reviews here on Revain. Based on the reviews I only gave them new food - no doubt there was no food left in their bowls. So I think it's confirmed that there are no problems with heat waves or other diseases affecting feeding. After THREE years of no eating issues with Rachel Ray and then suddenly not eating in this new bag, I think there is definitely something wrong with this bag. Bless everyone who wrote reviews! Thank you for helping my 3 babies! You may have saved the little one's life (he only weighs 3 pounds and has been having some health issues lately). Perhaps the retailer or manufacturer shares some thoughts on the possible cause of a problem affecting many customers. I don't think I can risk feeding my babies this brand again.
