This is a cute snail. He's made of wood. The eye-connector is like rubber tubing, so the eyes move. The snail shell is simply mounted above the wheelbase. This makes it impossible for a child to use everything. They can use the bowl to place and remove blocks, but lack motor skills to place the bowl on the base. I actually found it a bit odd to put on a seashell. And as soon as you hit the snail on the side, knock out the shell. So this is moved without a shell while using the shell as a form sorter. I really want it not to be multifunctional so that the child can fully enjoy it. The wood appears to be of good quality. There have not yet been any problems with peeling paint, despite the children's hectic chewing. So, well built but functionally flawed.
