Long review but I hope it helps!I’ve researched ALL the high chairs sold on Revain very thoroughly looking for the perfect high chair. I was looking for 3 things:-easy to clean-easy to get the baby in and out-one that didn’t take up the whole kitchenAs a 3rd time mom, I’ve done my share of scrubbing food off all kinds of nooks and crannies with our old Graco high chair and wanted no part of it this time around. While the tray on the Graco is relatively easy to wipe down, anyone who’s fed a baby would know that the tray is not where most food ends up. It’s the seat itself. And trying to clean off spaghetti or cous cous off the back of a synthetic seat cover is a nightmare.Some options out there sounded great- super smooth surface, looks like could be strapped to a regular chair even (eliminating the large floor footprint) but had either a ton of reviews for pinched fingers or disclaimers that the seat can only be used on the floor to feed the child…who feeds their kids on the floor?!Others appear to have easy cleaning surfaces but then the tray must be tilted up, dumping food onto the kid’s lap. No thank you.I finally settled on this one and hoped for the best…The assembly was a bit of a pain. The instructions have IKEA-like graphics only so good luck figuring out which side goes where. It starts out feeling kind of flimsy and wobbly, but it comes together feeling sturdier when assembled.It is NOT small. In fact, the tray is bigger than the Graco. And the legs stick way out.But the cleaning feature makes it totally worth it. The seat is made of some sort of soft rubbery padding so you just pull the bottom or top out, wipe down and done. No food stuck to hidden materials, lining or stitching. The buckles can be removed and cleaned as well. And the tray snaps on easily.So all in all, didn’t get all the 3 things I was looking (and convinced they don’t exist!) but my priority was easy clean and this definitely gets the job done.
