I bought this NATO strap for an old Waltham divers watch that I inherited from my maternal grandfather. which I recently found out could be a Blancpain Swiss Bathyscaphe - anyone. I needed a new watch strap because the old one just broke. After looking for ideas for a new strap, I definitely like the NATO strap on this vintage diver. (see my general photos). the strap looked good. it was a little flimsy, but not so flimsy that one would think it would be unsustainable. it's also quite long (for me), but I can crank up a little more slack. The only thing I can fault is that the rings you put the straps in are not glued or sewn. just glue or some kind of heated glue to hold it in place. I'm not sure if it's worth the $13.95 - it's some sort of canvas-type nylon strap, after all - but it does the job and is fairly comfortable. I have no regrets for the $13.95 - it comes with spring bars too! it was a nice bonus. I watched a few videos to figure out how to put it on a watch - it's easy. I think this will make you happy going towards the nato strap!
