Tell me if I can be wrong

Okay, that might be verbose, but it's proof. So this was the first formula I chose to supplement my 7 week old son with. At first I was happy with it and was surprised that his stool was soft and not shaped like compounds tend to be. My son was born with low blood sugar so I check his sugar regularly and it's always highest when I'm breastfeeding but not as high when I take supplements and I noticed he drank the bottle faster and so more time between had meals and so he had lower blood sugar levels. Lenten Sugar. His doctor seemed to agree. Around the same time I tried other formulas. I really wanted a goat's milk formula, even though it was a hit with Baby's Only. I tried Kabrita but in fact his stool started to thicken and he got eczema where sweat accumulated like on the side of his face where I rock his head (I blamed it on the palm oil and the mysterious vegetable oil) . I tried Similac Organic Ready-to-Eat but that bullshit made it work because of the carrageenan and Similac actually uses sugar instead of lactose. The lactose used in the hospitals, so obviously organic lactose is way too expensive. When he was mainly consuming this mix, his sugar definitely dropped to the bottom limit. I couldn't figure it out as they've been really good for the past few weeks. Well I finally made the connection with brown rice syrup at Baby's Only. Most infant formulas use lactose because it's the "sugar" in breast milk. It has a low glycemic index of 46. Brown Rice Syrup is 98, which is REALLY high! twice as much sugar as lactose. Foods with a high glycemic index tend to raise blood sugar levels quickly (which I saw with my son), but later this leads to a drop in blood sugar (also observed). They also leave a feeling of dissatisfaction (he always wanted to eat more of that stuff). I never made connections until I could compare its sugars to other formulas or breast milk alone. So I would really warn against this mix for children under 1 year old or even toddlers or even adults! It's nowhere near breast milk, and I encourage moms to read the research on ketosis and babies. Babies are programmed not to have high blood sugar, their brains thrive on low glycemic index foods. The best formula I have found is homemade goat milk formula. Mount Capra offers a kit. I haven't used it for a long time, but it has simple ingredients and is probably the closest thing to breast milk. I was concerned that the sodium content was high, but calculated that it was 1mg per ounce more than the regular formula. I hope this helps everyone and welcome comments who think I'm missing something. In fact, I found and am still researching conflicting glycemic values for brown rice and simple syrup. Thanks very much!
